Welcome to openheart.com.au. This website provides both patients and medical practitioners with information on cardiothoracic surgery. This site is owned and operated by Dr Ian Nicholson, adult and peadiatric cardiothoracic surgeon, and hopes to support the patient care carried out within his practice, to provide relevant and current information to health care workers and the general public, to raise awareness of cardiothoracic issues, and to introduce new cardiothoracic techniques and practices.
